• What is an ABAT?

    An ABAT or Applied Behavior Analysis Technician is a certified individual, who has gone through the training and examination in order to be qualified to work as a direct 1 to 1 therapy instructor for neuro-diverse individuals. They will implement and facilitate the treatment plan and behavior intervention programs to effectively support the individuals' needs.

  • Eligibility

    Must be at least 18 years old. Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or national equivalent. Must have completed 40 hours of approved assessment-based ABA coursework (including 3 hours in Ethics and 5 hours in Autism Core Knowledge) 15 hours of supervised fieldwork. Recommendation from their supervisor. Criminal background check conducted by the QABA Board through our 3rd-party background check provider, or evidence from an employer that there has been no change in status since the last background check was completed. Successful passing of accredited exam proctored by examity.

  • ABA Course

    The 40-hour ABAT course is one of the prerequisite requirements by QABA (the credentialing board for ABAT) in order to take the ABAT Certification examination.The content of this course covers all the tasks listed in ABAT Competency Standards and is developed or delivered by a professional who has been QABA certified, or certified by an accredited certifying entity, for a minimum of 2 years. This online course intends to provide a professional/paraprofessional foundation of knowledge to not only pass the ABAT exam, but also to be a stepping stone to other careers in educational enrichment and high support needs individuals.

ABAT Full Support Package

This in-depth training package will prepare specialists for the ABAT exam and provide career building opportunities in ABA. This package includes:

QABA approved 40 hour online course. Pre-recorded and go at your own pace. 4 separate classes taught online by live instructors. The instructors will provide live dynamic classes to review ABA concepts, answer ABAT-related questions, and to prepare for the ABAT exam. Campion Job Board. ABAT certificants will be included in our Health Services Professional Job Board for the opportunity to be matched with prospective employers. Campion will provide resume building, interview prep, and interview scheduling as applicable. Completion of the 15 hour supervised fieldwork requirement required to sit for the ABAT exam. Cebu ABAT Package

A hands-on intensive training package at Campion's state-of-the-art special needs and training center located in beautiful Cebu City, Philippines. Specialists enrolled in this program can expect to receive expert ABAT training under the direct supervision of ABA certified staff. On the job training will include working 1:1 with children diagnosed with ASD and developmental delays, learning to manage problem behavior across many different types of skills and deficits, and even implement data collection and recording session observation notes using the latest ABA software. ABAT graduates of this package will learn how to operate in a multidisciplinary center to work together to lift up the children. They will be prepared to immediately jump into the GCC work force and start exciting careers in ABA.
